Oct. 1--Wichai Thongtang, the lawyer who helped Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra win his 2001 asset concealment case before the Constitutional Court, has since moved beyond his legal practice to build up a health-care empire through his holdings in the Phyathai Group.
