Bangkok, Thailand, businessmen sceptical about plan to market farm products.

Oct. 1--Local businessmen question whether the recommendations of a marketing development plan for Thai farm produce will ever be put into practice, or simply be left to collect dust like so many other similar studies that came before it.
Prepared by consultancy firm Excellent Business Management Co on behalf of the National Economic and Social Development Board, the study identifies a number of obstacles hindering commercial development in the agricultural sector, including poor co-ordination among state agencies.
