Kerry's Skin Tone Irrelevant
Thanks for that comprehensive and detailed analysis of Sen. John Kerry's tan in "The Bronzed Star" (Editorial, Thursday). The author displayed wisdom and a critical eye by deciding to leave out any objective view of Kerry's ideology, and where the two contenders for president differ in their views.
Surely the fact that he looks more tan now than a few weeks ago disqualifies him from being president. As always, IBD once again focuses on the important issues.

Stop Picking On Florida
Regarding "Carter: Fla. Vote Will Be Flawed" (IBD's Top 10, Tuesday): It is hard for me to believe that Florida is the one and only state that has voting problems. Are the votes of Floridians so important that liberals such as Jimmy Carter have to single us out for scrutiny, or is he simply using this as an excuse to go after Florida's top election official, a Republican?
I suggest that Carter and other liberals turn their attention elsewhere and leave us alone.
