Red Hat to buy Netscape assets
The Linux software provider will acquire some of the products from Netscape's business software line, including a directory server and a certificate management system, with plans to market those as part of its open source architecture. Financial details weren't disclosed, but Red Hat expects to complete the deal with America Online in Q3. Red Hat fell 4% to 12.23.
