Businesses push to get term-limit issue on ballot.

John J. Jazwa says Ohio politics is broken and that the Central Ohio business community can help fix it.

Jazwa is a Cleveland-area business owner and treasurer of Ohioans for Term Limits, an organization that's pushing a controversial initiative to limit the terms of elected officials.

He said his group plans to solicit support from Columbus-area business owners and organizations. The effort is similar to those already under way in Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton, Cincinnati and Youngstown, and part of a grass-roots effort for change.

"We'd like somebody to step up and help us in Columbus," said Jazwa. "We would love to be able to get a hold of somebody in the business community down there to carry the ball for us." Jazwa is owner and president of B&B Paper Converters Inc. of Cleveland, which sells newsprint paper to newspaper companies.
