McCann Erickson has appointed two veterans of the Guinness account as creative directors.
The art director Brian Fraser and the copywriter Simon Learman spent seven years at Ogilvy & Mather, where they wrote ads for Guinness' long-running 'man in black' campaign, which featured Rutger Hauer.
They then spent the next six years at BMP DDB, where they worked on the Volkswagen, Sony, Budweiser, Vodafone and Reuters accounts. The pair have latterly been working as consultants.
They were involved in Labour's election campaign in 1997 and wrote a drama-based party political broadcast, which was directed by Stephen Frears.
Their appointments mark the completion of McCann's senior creative structure.
