Jan. 10--Local credit card issuers have lost more than one billion baht in revenue since the Bank of Thailand imposed tighter regulatory controls on the industry, according to the Credit Card Club.
Sukdee Chongmankhong, chairman of the club, said issuers remained concerned about the estimated one million cardholders whose incomes were below the 15,000-baht monthly minimum set under the new rules.
