Jan. 16--Despite Thailand's efforts to clamp down on intellectual property violations, enforcement against pirates of movies, music and software remains largely a case of "Catch Me if You Can".
Ironically, the US hit movie of the same title is widely available on VCD in Thailand even though it has not yet entered local theatres.
William Lash, the US assistant secretary of commerce, held up a copy of the movie yesterday to make his point.
