Jan. 15--LPN Development Plc said yesterday that it expected its 2002 net profit to fall by more than 40 percent year on year, before doubling this year due to expected strong demand for lower- and medium-priced condominiums.

Managing director Tikhumporn Plengsrisuk said LPN expected to post a net profit of 160-170 million baht in 2002 and 350 million this year.
