Jan. 9--The Thailand unit of the advertising and communications multinational Ogilvy & Mather Group recorded 15 percent growth last year and expects similar growth this year in spite of the uncertain spending outlook caused by US-Iraq tensions.
Tim Isaac, chairman of O&M in Thailand, said none of the firm's clients had contingency plans for a war and most believed that if there was one, it would be quickly resolved.
The group's consolidated billings last year reached 2.8 billion baht, up 15 percent from the previous year, outpacing the average industry growth of 10-12 percent.
