Jan. 7--Criteria for using intellectual property rights as collateral for loan applications will be completed by the end of the month, according to Yanyong Phuangrach, director-general of the Intellectual Property Department.
He said a preliminary formula had been approved by participating state-run financial institutions: Government Savings Bank, Krung Thai Bank, Industrial Finance Corporation of Thailand, SME Bank, the Bank of Thailand, the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Co-operatives (BAAC) and the Export-Import Bank of Thailand.
