Jan. 6--Concerned about epidemics such as haemorrhagic fever in tropical countries such as Thailand, a nurse has decided to leave her 20-year job to run a business dealing with protection from mosquitoes.
Umaporn Sroikeeree, 43, has encountered many patients who suffered from mosquito-borne diseases and she concluded that many of them did not have sufficient basic protection.
"Mosquito nets are necessary not only for home use but also for journeys to the jungle or remote areas in countries such as Thailand," she said.
