Jan. 4--Foreign investors were net buyers of 14.3 billion baht worth of securities in 2002, according to the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
Overall, foreign investors purchased 469.3 billion baht worth of securities, up 61.52 percent from 2001, and sold stocks worth 455 billion, up 53.2 percent from the previous year.
Local institutional investors were net buyers of 13.7 billion baht worth of securities in 2002, with 116.1 billion worth of buy orders, an increase of 87.4 percent from 2001, and 102.4 billion in sell orders, up 63.8 percent.
