Feb. 5--Cabinet ministers yesterday approved the fiscal 2004 budget, with a projected deficit of 99 billion baht on spending of 1.028 trillion.
Deputy Prime Minister Prommin Lertsuriyadej said the deficit was a continued decline from budgets over the previous two years, with the government projecting a return to a balanced budget position by 2007.
