Feb. 5--Launching a nine-billion-baht expansion plan aimed at tripling its annual turnover to 20 billion baht, vehicle parts maker Denso (Thailand) has established a company to provide services for a growing number of subsidiaries.
Thavorn Chalassathien, associate director of Denso (Thailand), said that employees of the new company, Denso International (Thailand), would ultimately help five or six subsidiaries control wage costs.
Denso (Thailand) has three subsidiaries including recently established Siam Denso Manufacturing.
The group's employees are projected to increase to 4,500 from 2,000 by 2006.
