Thai Business Tycoon to Build Hotels at Bang Saen.

Feb. 1--Bang Saen expects to attract more tourists with new luxury hotels to be built along the beachfront by the town's mayor, business tycoon Somchai Khunpleum, better known as Kamnan Poh.
Three hotels were in the pipeline, said Mr Somchai, adding that most existing hotels in the town were more than 10 years old.
The new four- or five-star hotels would capitalise on the planned opening of a casino and racecourse in Pattaya, which will transform Chon Buri into a centre for tourism, sport and entertainment.
