Jun. 3--Technology retail chain IT City had a disappointing debut on the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) yesterday, with shares closing well below its initial public offering (IPO) price.

The shares closed at 3.18 baht, with a high of 3.3 baht and a low of 3.12 on turnover of 50.4 million baht. The IPO price was set at five baht.

The SET index closed 0.24 percent higher at 404.78 points, up 0.96, on trade worth 8.1 billion baht.
