Jun. 3--Royal Garden Resorts yesterday announced a tender offer for outstanding shares of the Minor Food Group (MFG) at 70 baht a share.

The announcement to the Stock Exchange of Thailand helped push MFG shares up 1.49 percent yesterday to 68 baht on thin trade of 1.19 million shares.

Shares of Royal Garden Resorts (RGR) yesterday closed at nine baht, up 20 satang, on trade worth 2.13 million baht.

Trading in both companies' shares were suspended briefly yesterday pending the tender announcement.

RGR, which currently holds 35.7 percent of MFG, will tender for all outstanding shares from today to July 8.
