Cisco eyes another Israeli startup.

Networking giant Cisco Systems Inc. has again displayed its fondness for Israeli startups, with plans to acquire a data software firm there.

Its latest target, according to Israeli financial sources, is Finjan Software Inc., a Netanya-based data security firm that has raised nearly $30 million from five rounds of venture capital financing, including the latest in June led by Cisco itself. Finjan declined to comment, and Cisco did not return calls.

But the San Jose, Calif.-based predator has already swallowed nine Israeli startups, including three this year alone. Cisco's most recent deal was in August when it paid …
