Mar. 6--Kingfisher Holdings Ltd, one of Thailand's largest canned tuna exporters, expects its revenues to double to US$400 million by 2006, following one billion baht worth of investments this year.

The company has moved aggressively to cope with declining revenue growth in the past few years resulting from falling prices in the world market, according to Toshikatsu Tanaka, the managing director.

He said prospects for commodity products in the world market were getting tougher with the entry of more low-cost products from China and Vietnam, depressing prices per unit. Though Kingfisher's export volume has increased, ...
