Mar. 6--Although Thailand's premium coffee market is considered at the saturation point, Starbucks thinks otherwise and says it will continue to open more outlets.

Andrew Nathan, managing director of Starbucks Coffee (Thailand), a subsidiary of Seattle-based Starbucks, said yesterday the coffee market in Thailand had kept growing with new Starbucks outlets continuing to open.

"We (Starbucks) are very optimistic about the market in Thailand and we're growing consistently with our plan," Mr Nathan said.

"The new outlets would be opened where our customers want us to be."
