Mar. 6--Sony Thai Co projects its total sales for the financial year starting next month to reach 15 billion baht, up from 13 billion baht anticipated this year, driven by audio-visual information technology (AVIT) products.

The company will also increase its advertising and promotion budget this year to 750 million baht from 650 million a year earlier. Of the total, 70 percent will be spent to promote AVIT products, including digital cameras and Vaio notebook computers.
