Mar. 6--Deputy Transport Minister Pichet Sathirachawal plans to terminate the licence of Angel Air, once viewed as the second national airline, because it has suspended service for more than a year.

He said on Tuesday that he would study the legal process of termination and he would oppose any attempt of the airline to sell its aviation right to other airlines.

He also plans to streamline the process of registering other private airlines as national carriers. Bangkok Airways is seeking national-airline designation but current rules require time-consuming legal procedures governing private-sector participation in state projects.
