Mar. 4--February's Consumer Price Index (CPI), a measure of the prices of goods and services, fell 0.2 percent from January, but rose 1.9 percent on February last year.
Last month's CPI was 105.4, compared with 105.6 the month before, the Commerce Ministry said.
Falling inflation in February was attributed mainly to a 0.6 percent decline in prices of food and beverages. Prices of fresh food and daily consumer products also fell last month, said Phisit Settawong, the ministry's deputy permanent secretary.
