Apr. 1--The Industrial Estate Authority of Thailand has entered a joint venture to develop factories for rent or lease to small and medium-sized enterprises.
The factories will be developed by Total Industrial Service Co (Tiscom), a new company capitalised at 50 million baht, in which the state agency holds a 35 percent stake and SET-listed Thai Factory Development Co (TFD) 65 percent.
The initial investment by the venture would be about 200 million baht, said IEAT governor Anchalee Chavanich.
