Mar. 13--Cashing in on a solid demand in the domestic automotive market, Aapico Hitech Plc is set to invest an additional 500 million baht to build a new production facility in Ayutthaya this year.

The Malaysian-based auto-parts manufacturer expects sales revenue and net profit to grow by at least 30 percent this year, in line with the local automotive industry's growth projection.

Aapico Hitech reported a 580 percent jump in net profit to 132.3 million baht last year on consolidated sales revenue of 1.73 billion baht. Of the total revenue, 840 million baht came from auto-parts products while the remaining 890 ...
