Convergys Sets Up Shop in Thailand, Targets Telecoms.

Mar. 10--Convergys Corp, a multinational specialist in integrated billing and employee and customer services, has set up operations in Thailand with a new Bangkok office and aims to generate US$15 million (639 million baht) this year by providing outsourcing services to the telecom industry.
Convergys Asia Pacific president Francois Lancon said the Bangkok office was its ninth in Asia-Pacific and the company was looking to also open up offices in Vietnam and Cambodia.
He said Convergys already provided services for Advanced Info Service's 11 million subscribers and had bid to supply a billing and call centre system for TOT Corp. The system is ...
