Mar. 10--Two years after introducing the One Tambon One Product (Otop) programme, the government has turned to focus on the quality and marketing strategies of the products.

Deputy Prime Minister Somkid Jatusripitak has asked the agencies involved to help improve the marketing strategies, quality standards and packaging of the Otop products.

Since the launch of the programme, the products have become very popular among communities nationwide. But the rising number of products has led to concerns about marketing channels, product quality and the overlap of products from certain areas.
