Mar. 10--SG Asia Credit said it would wait until October to decide whether to close its brokerage and underwriting operations.
Pom Vattasingh, SG Asia Credit's managing director and country manager, said that brokerage operations had been inactive since the French parent company Societe Generale sold its Asian securities operations last year.
But SG Asia Credit was still active in investment banking and advisory services, she said, adding that the company last month received an award from the Thai Bond Dealing Centre for its work on the GT Star II issue, a special-purpose vehicle.
