Apr. 12--Telemetics, a company founded by a former president of the Telephone Organisation of Thailand, has won a bid to develop a billing system worth 1.19 billion baht for TOT Corporation, the agency's partly privatised successor.

A US wireless company, Locus Telecommunications, won a bid to supply a call centre worth 1.37 billion baht.

M-Link Asia Plc, headed by a sister of Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, finished second in each bid.
