Apr. 9--TOT Corporation's plans for a three-month reduction in domestic long-distance telephone rates beginning next week may be delayed.
TOT president Sittichai Songpiriyakit said the company's planned rate cut, intended as a gift to its clients during the Songkran festival, might be in jeopardy as a result of unfinished negotiations with fixed-line operators about the concession conversion, and its old billing system.
He said that it was difficult to add a rate reduction software programme to the billing system.
