Apr. 9--Bank of Asia expects to generate 60 million baht in revenues from e-commerce and e-banking this year, up from 15.8 million last year.

Apirom Noi-am, senior vice president for e-commerce and e-banking at Bank of Asia, said the higher revenue target was in line with projections showing greater use of the Internet to settle consumer transactions.

Internet payment transactions at Bank of Asia were expected to reach 400 million baht per month by the end of the year, compared with 200 million to 300 million per month at present.
