Apr. 5--Demand for the video-conference services has surged among businesspeople seeking to avoid attending meetings in Sars-affected countries, according to the Communications Authority of Thailand.
"Most of [the callers] are asking for details of the services before making a decision, while some of them are requesting the services immediately," said a CAT source.
The state agency offers video-conference facilities at the main studio in its Bang Rak office in central Bangkok.
