Apr. 2--President Agri Trading, one of the top-five rice exporters in Thailand, projects exports this year at eight billion baht, up from 7.6 billion in 2002.

Apichat Chansakulporn, managing director of President Agri Trading, said the company expected to raise export revenue following new investments in machinery and silo facilities.

Mr Apichat, also managing director of Siam Kasikij Silo, yesterday signed loans of 1.03 billion baht with Thai Military Bank to finance the construction of new silos, touted as the largest in Asia.
