Apr. 2--Renova Co, owned by a member of Sosothikul family that founded Seacon Square, will spend 50 million baht to develop a lifestyle retail zone called Season Trendy Mall to serve as a new magnet for the complex on Bangkok's Srinakarin Road.

The new zone, scheduled to open in June, aims to attract younger shoppers aged 13-45 years old, complementing the existing family clientele.

Using a total space of 5,000 square metres, Renova hopes to make Season Trendy Mall a hub for novel products along the lines of Siam Centre and the Chatuchak weekend market.

About 400 small tenants will contribute about 50 ...
