May 14--Two state agencies plan to offer credit facilities of up to 4.5 billion baht to Sars-affected tourism businesses within this month.
Each small tourism-related business that is facing liquidity problems as a result of the virus outbreak and the war in Iraq will be eligible to draw up to five million baht.
The programme is offered by the Small Industry Credit Guarantee Corporation (SICGC) in conjunction with the Small and Medium Enterprise Development Bank of Thailand (SME Bank).
