Lessees of State Railway of Thailand Property Vow to Co-Operate.
May 13--Business operators on Ratchadaphisek Road that lease land from the State Railway of Thailand, from hotels to retailers, say they are willing to co-operate with the state agency but want more time to study the details of their contracts.
According to Transport Minister Suriya Jungrungreangkit, who inspected land plots in the area on Sunday, 27 of the 52 lessees of railway land along Ratchadaphisek Road had breached their contracts.
Noot Suwankiri, the wife of Democrat MP Trairong and vice-president of P&B Ratchada Hotel, the operator of the Emerald Hotel, said she was not aware of the contract's details.
