May 10--Asia Wireless Communication Co has unveiled a new customer strategy designed to boost use of the PCT system.

Saharat Kanongsilp, deputy director of marketing, said the company would focus on specific market segments in a bid to maintain revenues at 2.9 billion baht this year.

PCT, or personal communication telephone, has seen its market share steadily decline in recent years due to lower prices and strong competition from cellular phone operators.

Mr Saharat said the company had identified three main PCT user groups: cost-conscious users such as teenagers living in dormitories purchasing the PCT ...
