May 9--Lanna Resources Plc, a SET-listed coal miner, says it will invest 198.75 million baht in ethanol producer Thai Agro Energy Co, or 75 percent of the project's full investment of 265 million baht.

Lanna Resources said yesterday it had paid 7.5 million baht for a 75 percent stake in the project's current registered capital of 10 million baht. The registered capital would be increased to 265 million baht in the future, it said.
