May 9--Central Pattana Plc, the new operator of World Trade Centre, has resumed construction of a 47-storey office building at the multi-purpose complex at the Ratchaprasong intersection.
Renamed the Central World Tower, the office block will be an A-grade building with total space of 80,000 square metres. CPN aims to promote the new office building as an ideal place for Thai and foreign companies wishing to establish regional headquarters in Thailand.
The complex, which includes the World Trade Centre retail plaza, will also have a four- or five-star hotel with 400 rooms.
