May 8--JMT Network Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of mobile phone distributor Jay Mart, has introduced Thai Express, a retail financing business aimed at the self-employed and small businesses.

Vendors, for instance, are considered a high-potential group as they traditionally have little access to bank loans, lacking a steady income and collateral.

While hire-purchase financing is normally provided based on a customer's monthly income, Thai Express will offer funds based on ability to pay.
