May 5--The SME Bank is preparing to introduce a new credit programme offering loans from 300,000 to 500,000 baht with annual interest rates no higher than 12 percent later this month, according to president Samran Bhuanantanondh.
The bank has set aside a total of three billion baht for the "fast-track" programme, he said.
Loans of up to 300,000 baht may be secured through personal guarantees, with loans of up to 500,000 baht available using corporate guarantees.
For loans of up to 100,000 baht, personal guarantees will be accepted from persons with monthly incomes of at least 15,000 baht, while loans of ...
