May 1--Special events and hotel discounts of up to 60 percent are planned to position the Hua Hin/Cha-am area as golf and spa destination during the coming low tourism season.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) and local hoteliers are also promoting the area as one where visitors need not be concerned about Sars.
