Jun. 13--Customers want financial institutions to continually introduce new products and help expand the general financial market, according to a survey by the Bank of Thailand.

CSN & Associates surveyed 4,800 retail clients and 1,190 entrepreneurs nationwide for the central bank, which will use the information in a master development plan for the financial system.

Small and medium-sized enterprises located upcountry want financial institutions to shorten the time used for processing credit, offer more flexible repayment schemes and lower fees for settlement and risk management.
