France to Lift Profile in Thailand, Seeks to Tighten Trade Ties.

Jun. 6--Increased co-operation with Thailand is part of the French government's action plan this year to strengthen bilateral trade and investment partnerships.
France seeks to lift the country's profile in Thailand in three areas: small and medium-sized enterprises, tourism and satellites, according to Jacques Torregrossa, economic and commercial counselor with the French embassy.
He said France classified Thailand as one of 25 priority countries due to its sound economic fundamentals and huge investment opportunities.
France has allocated eight million euros (392 million baht) to the co-operation ...
