Thai-German Products to Enter Embossed Steel Market.

Jun. 6--Thai-German Products Plc (TGPRO) plans to become Thailand's first manufacturer of embossed stainless steel sheet for decorative items.
Somsak Tiyapongprapan, managing service director, said the company decided to invest in the new production line because it believed it could compete with importers in terms of prices.
Local steel companies have been reluctant to enter the embossed steel market due to the large investment required for the complex production process which requires imported molds and high costs due in part to design copyrights.
