Jun. 6--The new managing director of Royal Food Group (RFG) plans to reposition the 22-year-old Dunkin' Donuts brand and refresh the image of the bakery cafe chain Au Bon Pain in a very competitive Thai market.
Nadim Salhani, the first outsider to take the helm at RFG, controlled by the Narula family, said the existing 2,000-plus retail sites of the doughnut franchise would be renovated to be more exciting and trendy for teenagers. New products, including coffee bean packs, would be introduced to broaden the image beyond one of a doughnut chain.
