Following their high-profile performance at last weekend's Reading/Leeds festivals, Placebo are gearing up for their highest UK headline show yet at Wembley Arena on November 5. The concert will form part of the campaign around their forthcoming retrospective, Once More With Feeling: Singles 1996-2004, The album, which will include two new tracks, will he supported by a TV advertising campaign around its release. "It will recognise how much they have done as a band," says Virgin Records Creative and marketing director Mark Terry. "I think people will he surprised at how many songs they know by this hand," he says.
