Jul. 4--United Communication Industry Plc plans to increase its focus on services over sales to boost revenue.

Chief executive Boonchai Bencharongkul said the change in strategy would follow the business pattern of Shin Corporation which focuses more on generating revenue from services.

Ucom is the major shareholder in Total Access Communication (TAC), Thailand's second-largest mobile phone firm. Shin owns the largest cellular operator, Advanced Info Service Plc (AIS).
