Jul. 2--Samart Info Media (SIM), the multi-channel content provider, has signed a deal with Jimmy Software Co to develop online games for new-generation mobile phones.

"Online games are now one of the most popular wireless content services, and are expected to be the key content to be used in the new handset models," said Thavatchai Vilailuck, president of Samart Corp, SIM's parent firm.

Jimmy Software is well-known for developing applications supporting overseas mobile-phone operators including online games for pocket PC devices.
